March 19, 2025

Nebula, the Communications Platform-as-a-Service vendor, has appointed Shalini Kaushik as its new Head of Engineering. Shalini brings nearly two decades of engineering experience to the leadership role, having previously worked at numerous technology companies.

Before joining Nebula, Shalini spent six years as VP of Engineering at Sycurio, running development lifecycles for PCI Software solutions, six years as a senior QA head at Phoenix Business Solutions, and nearly seven years at Accenture.

Shalini said: “Two decades in the software industry have taught me that exceptional technology produces sustained commercial success. Nebula’s passion for delivering technical excellence became immediately clear to me, and guiding such a highly innovative product roadmap forward is an exciting prospect.”

Her arrival bolsters Nebula’s engineering capabilities and strengthens its software portfolio, which includes channel-focused communications platform, CallSwitch One, and business communication cloud service, Yay.com

Howard Stevens, Nebula’s CEO, said of the appointment: “Welcoming Shalini to the Nebula team coincides with unrelenting demand for our technology. Shalini’s wealth of experience is a fantastic asset, and we look forward to seeing the positive effect her arrival will have across the 200,000 users who rely on Nebula’s products every day.”

Nebula proudly reinvests in its proprietary technology, with CallSwitch One’s new Analytics software suite the most recent example. In addition to this significant update, the company released over 30 new features and 100 software updates in 2024 alone.

Shalini concluded: “Ambitious software companies thrive on ambitious engineering roadmaps and 2025 is no exception at Nebula. It’s been going to be a big year for us, our partners and our customers.”
