Nebula wins Best Software Vendor – Communications at the CNA Awards 2026

September 25, 2026

Nebula has won Best Software Vendor – Communications at the Channel National Awards 2026. The award was presented at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster, on 24 September, where Nebula was also a finalist for Best Partner Programme, Best UCaaS Vendor and Best Software Vendor - Communications.

Being shortlisted in three categories recognises the breadth of Nebula’s work across software, partner programmes and UCaaS.

Winning Best Software Vendor – Communications is further recognition of the work behind CallSwitch One – a platform Nebula owns entirely and continues to develop alongside the partners who sell it.

Why ownership makes the difference

The Best Software Vendor – Communications category rewards vendors that go beyond the platform to help partners build new services and revenue. For Nebula, that starts with owning 100% of the technology behind CallSwitch One.

With no third-party roadmap between a partner's request and a product release, feedback from the field can reach production in weeks rather than many months. Over the past 12 months, Nebula invested more than £3 million in research and development, representing over 7% of turnover, and rolled out 56 platform enhancements.

That model has created real commercial opportunities for Nebula's partners:

  • Hospitality: A hospitality-focused partner asked for specialist hotel functionality. Nebula built it and released it across the platform, giving every partner a route into the sector.
  • Healthcare: When the Welsh Government required all NHS dental practices in Wales to use Dentally, Nebula developed a Dentally integration with CallSwitch One. Partners gained a timely, differentiated offer for a market going through mandatory change.
  • AI Transcriptions and Summaries: Nebula responded to demand for practical AI capabilities by introducing AI-powered call transcripts, summaries and post-call action reports directly within CallSwitch One. The feature gives partners a new way to help customers boost productivity, turning call information into useful insights in seconds, without manual note-taking or re-listening to calls.

What Nebula shipped this year

CallSwitch One now connects with more than 30 business applications, and this year's releases focused on the everyday experience of users and the operational needs of the businesses they work for:

  • Offnet Connect lets users make outbound calls from their CallSwitch One number without mobile data, keeping a professional caller identity on the move or in poor-signal areas.
  • Advanced Analytics and session reporting give businesses sharper visibility of call activity and team performance, focused on the metrics that matter to them.
  • Queue management enhancements, including queue login and logout, availability updates and pause reasons, help contact teams run customer service more effectively.
  • Custom call pop-up integrations bring customer information into view the moment a call arrives, tied into third-party apps and workflows.
  • Call routing via bridged accounts supports more flexible multi-site and multi-business set-ups.

Helping partners sell, not just supply

Software is only part of what enables partners to win and grow. The support surrounding CallSwitch One was therefore a key part of Nebula’s entry, with a programme designed to help partners build the skills, confidence and pipeline needed to succeed.

Nebula’s onboarding programme combines technical accreditation, sales enablement and solution training. Partners completing the programme secure their first deal within around two weeks on average, with 95% going on to pass accreditation.

Nebula also works alongside partners to generate new demand. Since January, selected partners have received enriched prospect records, segmented by industry, company size, revenue and decision-maker, generating marketing-qualified leads directly into their sales pipelines.

Partner incentives are also designed to support growth based on individual performance, rather than simply rewarding the highest sales volumes. This creates a more level playing field, giving smaller resellers the opportunity to compete alongside larger partners while working towards their own growth targets.

Every partner is supported by a dedicated, UK-based account manager, with each manager responsible for no more than 50 partners. This ensures partners receive consistent, focused support as they develop their CallSwitch One proposition and grow their customer base.

“This award represents much more than recognition for the technology itself. It reflects the strength of the relationships Nebula has built with its partners and the ability to turn their feedback into meaningful product development.

I’d like to thank our partners and their customers for their continued support of CallSwitch One, the CNA judging team for recognising Nebula’s work, and the entire Nebula team for their commitment throughout the year. Winning in such a competitive category is a testament to the quality, the innovation and the dedication that goes into supporting our partners every day.” - Howard Stevens, CEO of Nebula
