Inside Nebula’s Partner Conference, North Star by Nebula

September 18, 2026

Nebula welcomed partners and resellers to London on Wednesday 16 September for North Star 26, its annual partner conference. The message from the stage was consistent: a business that has finished a hard job and is now investing on the front foot.

Opening the day, CEO Howard Stevens covered the conclusion of Nebula’s migration programme to CallSwitch One, concluded in March. Over the course of the programme, Nebula moved 141,000 users for 335 partner bases, supported by £1.5m in incentives for those partners.

The financial picture tells the same story. Revenue grew from £13.9m in 2024 to £15.0m in 2025, while EBITDA has risen from £3.8m to £4.3m - both gross of £1.5m in the aforementioned one-off partner incentives. A further £0.8m invested in software development has expanded the product, QA and DevOps teams, alongside growing investments in sales and marketing.

"The migration was a big ask of our partners, and we backed them with £1.5m in incentives to make it work," said Stevens. "With that chapter closed, we're in a strong position to invest in the platform, the product and our partners' growth."

Head of Product James Lockhart picked up the thread with the roadmap, framed by Nebula's partner survey in which 85% of partners said CallSwitch One is their only or primary platform. WhatsApp Business messaging is already live on desktop, with mobile following in October. AI Insights is live and included with CallSwitch One Pro, and the new AI Assistant add-on brings those insights into Nebula's apps. Next comes AI Sentiment Analysis and AI Content Filtering, with Voice Agents and Live Agent Assistance to follow in 2027. Lockhart also announced a Product Steering Group, open to selected Elite partners who want a say in what comes next.

Head of CX Jez Pickering charted how far the customer experience has moved. First reply times on tickets have reduced 65% to 43 minutes, and the average call queue wait from two and a half minutes to an industry-leading 17 seconds. Ticket CSAT has climbed from 92% to 98.9%, and Nebula's Trustpilot score now stands at 4.9. The porting team moved 40,000 numbers in 2025 and has recorded 100% porting CSAT so far in 2026, while fraud incidents are down 95% with no material fraud losses this year. Behind those numbers sit two self-hosted AI tools, Zen.bot and AI Ticket Analysis, which help its agents respond faster to partner requests and review the quality of every ticket.

Eight months into the partner programme, CMO Simon Blackwell reported strong growth across the tiers: Premium partners are up 17% since January and Elite partners up 25%. Partners have received £19,000 in marketing funding and 14,500 intent-data contacts spanning 5,000 UK businesses to support their pipelines.

Closing the day, Sam Giggle, MD of Channel, turned to where Nebula's attention goes next. With its own platform migration complete, the focus has shifted to bringing partner bases across from other platforms. Consolidation and M&A across the market are already prompting resellers to move, and Nebula has taken on its first base migrations from competing platforms as a result. To back that shift, Giggle launched a new commercial proposition aimed squarely at partners migrating from alternative VoIP and UCaaS platforms.

"If your base is sitting on another platform, the numbers have never stacked up better for a move," said Giggle.

Looking ahead to FY27, Nebula's focus is revenue growth, an accelerated product roadmap and technology-focused M&A — with the stated goal of remaining a truly British-developed, built and supported SaaS house for the channel.
